The Extreme Scale Infrastructure (ESI) organization consists of Data Center Solutions (DCS) & Datacenter Scalable Solutions (DSS) and focuses on infrastructure and solutions for the hyperscale and near-hyperscale space. Operating as a semi-autonomous business within Dell, ESI maintains a “start-up and scaling fast” mentality. This culture has allowed ESI to grow exponentially. As such, applicants for this role should demonstrate an ability to manage a broad spectrum of responsibilities and interface effectively with non-marketing functions such as engineering, architecture, sales, procurement, operations, program management, and finance. The ability to effectively deal with ambiguity cannot be overstated.

Develop an understanding of the ESI business and its operations. Understand how ESI fits into the Dell EMC strategy.
Develop knowledge of both internal and external data sources
Work closely with business stakeholders to provide actionable data-driven insights that directly impact ESI business operations.
Connect information together to develop meaningful dashboards, metrics, and insights into the business from financial metrics (ie, ROI, Order vs Actual Margin %) to people metrics (ie, FTE per project, efficiency metrics) to operational metrics (ie, cycle time, activity rates)
Must be able to communicate effectively to all levels of the organization being both transparent and handling sensitive information in an appropriate manner.
Must have excellent Excel and Powerpoint skills and knowledge of Clarizen, SQL, and Tableau tools are a plus
Must be a self-starter capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment willing and able to communicate to multiple teams and people at all levels of the organization
10+ years of experience in server or related industry.
Knowledge of data center technologies, future trends, and direction, including hyperscale industry competitors.
Solid business, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
Strong skills in hands-on execution and project management
Must have a pragmatic, hands-on style, and the ability to “think outside the box”.
Strong planning and priority-setting abilities.
Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and influencing skills.
Experienced at managing and delivering on time with multiple concurrent priorities.
Must have the ability to thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced, and demanding environment.
Bachelor's Degree - required; Engineering Degree preferred
