This role is in the Global Operations Planning organization within the supply chain and is part of a global team focused on long-term commodity forecasting. Responsibilities for this role may include..

  • Direct ownership of long term commodity demand signals for Hard Drives (HDDs), Solid State Drives (SSDs) and Memory across Client PC, Server and Storage applications globally

  • Leading planning process analysis and problem solving efforts to improve forecast performance

  • Forecasting process design and implementation

  • Articulating assumptions and risks driving commodity demand signals to stakeholders x-functionally

  • Leadership in identification, scoping and recommended resolution for potential demand risks

  • PC, Server, Storage and commodity industry market analysis

  • Cross-functional communication and coordination with stakeholders in Global Operations Planning, Procurement, Sales Planning, Product Marketing, Product Engineering, etc.

  • Executive level written, presentation and verbal communication of analysis and recommendations

  • Dealing with high level complexity and providing x-functional influence to solve key business issues

  • Identification of operations planning best practices internally or externally

Qualifications for this role include..

  • Bachelor degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Finance or applicable field and 5+ years of applicable experience

  • Procurement, Planning and Sales experience with Hard Drives, Solid State Drives and Memory

-Demonstrated capabilities in:

  • Dealing with ambiguity

  • End-to-end program management

  • End-to-end thinking

  • Problem solving and advanced analytics

  • Clear and effective communication
