You will manage Americas product environmental regulations & standards as well as drive implementation of key product environmental programs (materials substitution, eco-label design changes, etc)across the Dell Technologies portfolio. You will be responsible for coordinating the documentation and communication of program requirements to product teams, various cross-functional teams and other stakeholders. You will build implementation plans and track execution of all affected products, identifying and helping to manage and mitigate risks whilemanaging lowest cost of compliance. You will be expected to be able to communicate clearly through oral and written communications including the ability to present clear and concise information to team, internal customers, external customers and executives.
Role Responsibilities -Monitor and influence Americas product environmental regulations & standards via active engagement in trade associations and direct engagement with policy makers -Establish and lead Program team meetings, drive and track participation, set agendas, document meeting minutes, assign and track action items, drive timely issue resolution, manage risks, record documentation and provide executive management updates and developmilestone reviews as required -Conduct periodic reviews to ensure project is on track and conducts post-project reviews -Utilize relevant project management tools, systems, and applications. Ensure all project documentation is kept up to date and communicated to the relevant stakeholders on a timely basis -Maintain and effectively communicate the Plan of Record (POR) and current status for the assigned programs at all times -Maintain positive working relationships with peers, managers, and executives -Regularly to review the business factors associated with your programs including competitive environment, product features, positioning in the portfolio & in the market, financials, supply/demand environment, quality, schedule, and program risks
Requirements -12+ years of related experience in a professional role witha Bachelor's degreeor 8+ years with a Masters degree -Experience in engagingtrade associations, policy makers and standards bodies (IEEE, IEC, etc) -Advanced skills in Program management or technical management including planning, senior management interface and managing cross functional teams (core teams) for long term programs -Strong leadership, organizing, and planning skills and demonstrate attentiveness to quality and productivity a must -Strong analytical, problem solving, and priority setting skill, initiative and ability to work in a self-directed environment -Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment -Facilitation skills to lead meetings. Ability to build effective teams, lead extended teams, and meet deadlines -Ability to manage daily workflow as required to meet departmental and customer requirements
