Primary Function:

Responsible for identifying, developing and implementing assigned business unit sales

training in the following areas: products, category/market, and sales skills, supporting

attainment of business unit sales goals.

Major Responsibilities:

  1. Achievement of Sales Training objectives, goals, strategies and measures.

  2. Support the identification, development and implementation of assigned product

and sales skill training for new hires and sales team members, to include product

modules, sales aid annotations, case studies, etc.

  1. Gain and exhibit competence in computer applications as needed by the position

and to support Field Sales applications.

  1. Become acquainted with adult learning principles and begin to apply them on the


  1. Develop effective group presentation skills for the classroom and sales meetings

  2. Develop effective written communication skills supporting training activities

  3. Adapt training materials to changes in selling and customer environments.

  4. Knowledge of assigned products, markets and customers to ensure that effective

training programs are identified, developed and implemented

  1. Accountable for achieving annual goals

  2. Annual review and updating of assigned training materials to reflect current priorities and strategies.


  • BS/BA in business or science-related field to reflect educational level of customers being called on.

  • 3-5 years of experience (Field, Marketing) in Chronic Pain Therapies.

  • Sales Training experience preferred.

  • Ability to serve as an effective member of multi-disciplinary teams

  • Technical competency in assigned field, including computer skills

  • Ability to learn, understand and train highly technical concepts to sales team members

  • Effective communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to plan, organize and prioritize work activities
