DESCRIPTION:

Dell Client Solutions, Special Vehicle Team (SVT) is based in Austin, Texas. The team is responsible for delivering proof of concepts, end-to-end products and cutting-edge solutions that demonstrate our companys leadership in technology. This specialized team brings together experts in experience design, engineering, program management, and operations to introduce innovative products for our customers. As Technical Program Manager, you will lead this dynamic and fast moving team in the development of virtual/augmented reality solutions for Dells customers. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: - Leads cross-functional, World Wide teams(s) for the prototyping and development of virtual/augmented reality solutions for Dells customers. - Manage overall progress of a virtual/augmented reality programs and delivers frequent program updates to executives - Builds external alliances with customers and industry experts to gain and share information and industry - Applies thought leadership. Shapes long-term strategic direction. Uncovers strategic issues from a scientific/technical perspective. - Act as a primary point of contact for the ODM and strategic technology partners to drive the program requirements - Organize cross functional computer human interaction engineers and technologist to ensure subsystems of augmented/virtual reality devices and design hardware, firmware and software solutions to meet user experience requirements - Manages key supplier agreements and contracts

QUALIFICATION:

Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Engineering plus 8 or more years of experience in product design and development - End-to-end experience (entire product cycle) in high-tech computer product development starting from product conceptualization until mass production - Experience in Computer Human Interaction in advanced input devices, touch interaction, augmented/virtual reality - Hands on experience working with ISVs and Internal SW Development processesincluding both Agile and Waterfall methodologies. - Demonstrated ability to successfully manage international ODMs and technology partners regarding technical topics, design changes and issue management
