About the Opportunity
Help us succeed by doing your part as a member of our Process Control Lab, serving in the role of Quality Lab Tech/Wastewater Treatment Operator.
NOTE: This particular job posting is for a SECOND SHIFT position
Major duties of a Quality Lab Tech/Wastewater Treatment Operator include:
Perform tests in accordance with customer specifications to confirm effectiveness of bonding processes.
Oversee the chemical processes used in the wastewater treatment facility.
Performs tests to ensure that various chemical tanks in the Phosphoric Acid Anodize process line are within customer specifications.
Maintains records on adhesives and other products used in the metal and composite bonding processes in accordance with customer specification.
Sets up laboratory equipment and instrumentation required for tests, research, or process control.
Maintains appropriate documentation to record all testing activities.
Ensure proper functioning of the waste water treatment system by maintaining proper pH levels in process tanks to maintain compliance to all environmental regulations.
Maintains log of operations and records meter and gauge readings.
Maintains an appropriate stock of chemicals and filters used in the rinse water treatment process.
Collects samples as required for testing purposes.
Adds chemicals to the chemical process line as directed by the Quality Department.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
One to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Forklift experience preferred
Must be detail oriented with strong multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in MS Office products
