BAE Systems Technical Intern 3 in Fort Worth, Texas
TheElectrical Engineering college student summer intern position is intended to aid in the development of anindividual capable of becoming a productive member of a programengineering team specifically from the Electrical Engineering function. This internship will span about 10 weeks over the 2017 Summer.
Candidate will work under Engineering supervision, andProgram Engineering Management,within a military fighteraircraft electrical/electronics ground support equipment product development lifecycle. Product development includes performing laboratory testing of electrically/electronically-based hardware including using lab instruments. Product sustainment will also be a focus area.
Additionally, selected candidate will participate in varioustraining opportunities in: project teamwork, project management,communication skills, cross-functional problem solving, engineering project management including risk mitigation, status schedule tracking, and electrical engineering project costs.
Candidate for this position is actively pursuing an electrical engineering bachelor's degree (as a Junior),and is assessed as possessing the requisite skills and abilities for development.
Required Skills And Education
The college intern candidate shall have the following skills, experience and qualifications:
-Junior-level Electrical Engineering college student,actively pursuing BSdegree (ABET Accredited college).
-3.14 GPA (min.)
-Good communication skills (written and oral).
-Proficientwith MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint Office suite.
-Hands on electricalengineering project-based experience (e.g., robotics, EE laboratory experiments, computer hardware diagnostics).
-Aviation industrypart-time employmentexperience (e.g., manufacturing engineer's aide, supply chain assistant, inventory management, product defect root cause, quality assurance).
-Candidate expresses an interest inengineering project management.
-Applicant must be a U.S. Citizen.
