The Associate Distribution Coordinator is responsible for scheduling product deliveries and ensuring communication lines are open with marketing, customers, carriers and suppliers. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Scheduling product deliveries with carriers for wholesale customers.
Working closely with wholesale marketing group to ensure that all monthly contractual obligations are fulfilled.
Communicating with various carriers on the delivery of product.
Working with product suppliers to avoid disruptions of service.
Assisting the wholesale marketing group to minimize the possible disruption of pipeline allocations, supplier surpluses, or shortages.
Assisting customers, accounting, and the product administration groups in resolving invoicing and any other issues that may arise.
The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree required. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field preferred.
A minimum of 1 year experience in an industry related role performing scheduling, contracts, or marketing responsibilities preferred
Working proficiency/knowledge of MS Excel and Word are required.
Ability to travel up-to 10% domestically required to visit and meet major customers.
Working knowledge of SolArc Right Angle or similar proprietary system is preferred.
Ability to develop good working relationships with internal and external customers.
Ability to multitask and demonstrate a common sense approach to problem solving.
Effective written and oral communication skills with internal and external customers at all levels within the organization.
