The SCADA Compliance Coordinator will ensure that all SCADA documentation meets the requirements and is properly maintained. The SCADA Compliance Coordinator is responsible for the effective and appropriate management of SCADA records. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Maintain CRM requirements per the Pipeline Control Room Compliance program and maintain records that demonstrate compliance.
Lead the effort to ensure documentation of activities on pipeline systems complies with applicable requirements.
Ensure all documentation is generated within schedule requirements and is properly maintained.
Lead the effort to ensure consistent application of applicable documentation procedures and processes across the SCADA system(s).
Take the lead to ensure documentation conforms to the compliance requirement.
Drive continuous improvements by identifying gaps between current systems and regulatory requirements. Work with other pertinent groups to close gaps in a systematic manner.
Coordinate and communicate Management of Change process to the SCADA Support team.
Communicate with the Control Center Compliance group and Control Center Managers to coordinate processes and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
Develop, coordinate and monitor a comprehensive records retention and records destruction schedule for records.
Plan, develop and implement records management SCADA policies intended to standardize filing, protecting, and retrieving records, reports, and other information contained on paper, computer program, or other media.
Plan, develop, and administer records management policies designed to facilitate effective and efficient handling of SCADA records and other information.
Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and practices of records management program.
Facilitate the development of filing systems / electronic directories, and maintain these to meet administrative, legal, and financial requirements.
The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or a related technical field, or commensurate work experience is required.
Knowledge of pipeline industry standards is preferred.
Pipeline industry experience as a SCADA application support specialist/coordinator is preferred.
Knowledge of various laws governing pipeline operations, including, but not limited to PHMSA, OSHA and EPA preferred.
Technical writing experience is preferred.
Must have the ability to interface effectively with regulatory agencies, company contacts, customers and employees.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously is required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of applications is required.
Must be self motivated and be able to work independently but also work well in a team environment.
Must have strong oral and written communication skills are required to work and communicate with all levels of staff, management, and executives.
Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% of the time is required.
