Main Accountabilities: Build a cohesive team out of the TREs by breaking down site, regional, and department silos Align KPI s between TREs, the field, and the department that ensures consistent and combined efforts to resolve complicated problems within the role Capture Best Practices between regions by using tools already developed Using and conducting after action reviews, and ensuring the information is distributed to the concerning parties Promote and enforce the utilization of the knowledge sharing database and other internal tools Prioritize work to achieve the largest availability impact, and prolonging the life of the assets Know and understand our assets by identifying issues that are site specific, and issues that are fleet wide, resolve them, and ensure the information is broadcasted as necessary Improve overall turbine performance by developing and implementing initiatives that examine current and future processes and procedures and recommend improvements Serve as the liaison between the TREs, Operations, Performance, technical groups, and other departments, ensuring information flows effectively between all Align technical and performance teams to streamline responsibly and roles within the department Capture and utilize lessons learned to prevent repeat issues from occurring across the fleet Facilitate the development of TREs through professional development programs and internal/external training Identify turbine component deficiencies and/or improvements and help guide corrective actions Monitor fleet wide power curves on a regular basis and address efficiency issues proactively Analyze downtime and develop plans to minimize availability impacts Compare all turbine platforms to look for areas of improvement across fleet Review scorecards to identify trends and areas of improvement across fleet Develop new analytic tools that help the sites focus on issues and identify areas of opportunity Periodically review maintenance practices and make recommendations to optimize checklist and focus on critical items Review fault data to ensure faults are being properly addressed and minimized accordingly Review site parts usage and inventory, and work closely with central maintenance to optimize the proper stocking levels of spare parts across the fleet Help develop troubleshooting guides for various OEM turbine platforms Encourage consistent use of escalation process Help further develop troubleshooting guides for various OEM turbine platforms Encourage consistent use of escalation process Help further develop training program for site technicians (turbine general, component specific) Work closely with Performance Management and Analysis and lead field validation tests on new or remanufactured parts Share best practices and experience with EU fleet team Other duties as required Direct Reports: 5-7 Travel: up to 40% Position Requirements Minimum Qualifications: 10+ years relevant experience, preferably in wind energy Bachelor s degree in a related field or equivalent wind-related experience Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software and database applications, systems such as SAP, Appian applications (COBRA, Knowledge sharing database, etc.), reporting tools & processes Read and interpret mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical schematics Read and interpret work instructions from a variety of manufacturers pertaining to wind turbine equipment Behavioral Requirements Strong interpersonal skills and high
