Job Description

Position Summary:

This position will provide specialized support for the development, implementation and ongoing operation of and compliance with the compliance programs at Exterran, including the records management program.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Support the generation of both a governance and procedural framework for a global compliance and the records management programs.

  • Establish tools (questionnaires, inventories, training and policies) to support ongoing compliance and records management landscape.

  • Establish and roll out training and awareness programs for the records management program and support the same for other compliance programs.

  • Support the compliance team in oversight of compliance helpline and third-party due diligence.

  • Support when drafting and executing agreements (agent, vendor, and other compliance related agreements)

  • Work with the senior legal systems analyst and investigation teams in investigations and data gathering.

  • Establish key performance indicators (including cost savings) to monitor progress of and overall compliance with the compliance and records management programs.

  • Evaluate compliance and records management program needs together with IT, HR, HSSE and other departments.

  • Evaluate and recommend tools and systems for compliance and records management programs.

  • Support the updated and generation of taxonomies, records classification and retention scheduling schemes.

  • Support the update of and manage a network of Records Management Coordinators globally.

  • Perform required project planning tasks.

  • Manage relationships with identified vendors and consultants.

  • Perform resource forecasting and budget preparation tasks.

  • ‘Support the Chief Compliance Officer and the compliance teams in various tasks, as necessary.

  • Support other members of the legal group as necessary for back up and overflow work.

Education &Experience Required:

· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.

· [Five] years’ experience in compliance field and ten years in the legal field.

· Strong skills in working in various technology systems and databases.

· Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Experience & Skills:

· Experience in management of complex global or cross-functional projects.

· Extensive knowledge of compliance and records management requirements and standards.

· Experience in managing country-specific needs within global framework.

· Excellent written and oral communication skills.

· Ability to work independently in solving problems.

· Works to improve organizational efficiency and alignment wherever possible.

· Understands impact of process and system change and works proactively to manage successful implementation.
