Shell’s Global Lubricant business, North America is the largest market with 70% of the NA volumes being with the key brands of Pennzoil, Quaker State, and Formula Shell for Passenger Car Motor Oil (PCMO), and Rotella for Heavy Duty Engine Oil (HDEO). This role will support the GM Marketing for North America to ensure these Brands are delivering against the growth ambitions established by the Business.
Provide leadership in bringing together the Global Brand Teams, the Brand and Communications Team, and the Marketing Sector Teams, to ensure a clear link between Brand Manager’s Brand Strategy and CVPs, SP&A Funding, and the ultimate execution of the Brand Plan
Monitor and report out to stakeholders on a monthly basis concerning the health of the key brands.
Coordinate with the Marketing Team leads and the Global Brand and Sector Managers any needed corrective action plans.
Lead the annual Brand & Sector planning process for North America. This will involve working closely with the Marketing Planning Manager, the Global Brand Managers, and the other Marketing Team Leads
Responsible for the overall execution of the North America Brand Plan, which will evolve tracking execution plans by the Sector Team leads and the Manager of the Brand and Communication Team and regular communications with key stakeholders
Represent North America Marketing at Global Brand Team meetings including CVP development workshops, product development workshops
Facilitate organization learning through reporting marketing effectiveness and business results
Work with Global Brand Managers and sector managers.
Responsible for marketing our primary brands within B2B and B2C
Responsible for the North American Territory
Responsible for the Pennzoil, Quaker State, Formula Shell, Rotella Brands
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer
Must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited university, MBA Preferred
Must have ten (10) or more years of Brand management understanding and experience
Experience launching new products
Experience with project management
Must be highly analytical, have an external mindset, strategic thinker, big picture oriented, self starter, and an independent worker
Must be able to effectively manage stakeholder expectations across the organization, at all levels
