POSITION SUMMARY

The Product Manager, Sales B2B has the primary responsibility of leading the delivery of electronic data and process integration solutions to Sysco Customers. They will ensure that solutions are aligned with the overall Sales and B2B strategic roadmap to support innovation and future growth. The position will also manage day-to-day tactical operations of the product team to ensure processes are followed and standards are met.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with stakeholders to understand and drive the business process vision.

  • Lead product team and ensure high quality solutions are being delivered.

  • Proficient in B2B tools, protocols and communication standards including EDI.

  • Drive team efficiencies through adhering to standards and principles.

  • Set priorities for the product team based on delivering value, cost cutting initiatives and strategic direction.

  • Form strong partnerships with business stakeholders to understand mid to long term business direction.

  • Understand and describe processes and methodologies the team is implementing and be able to discuss their benefits so that the team understands the value that can be achieved.

  • Provide guidance on the strategic roadmap and align Sales B2B solutions with the overall direction.

  • Organize and facilitate meetings with the business units and project teams to identify and resolve issues, manage risks and communicate project updates.

  • Manage work intake for the product team and align deployments with release schedules.

  • Develop efficient and effective solutions to solve diverse and complex business problems.

  • Coach and maximize team member performance throughout the year; perform annual performance reviews.

  • Seek to inspire and motivate others, promoting positive teamwork by maintaining high levels of energy and optimism.

  • Create an environment where people want to excel and encourage others to work as a team for the success of the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS Degree in Business, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering.

  • Master's Degree or related experience is preferred.

  • Minimum 10 years of overall IT (or related area) work.

  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience.

  • Agile methodologies experience preferred.

  • High competency in project management and the execution of multiple large projects, including managing resources across multiple projects to meet goals.

  • Proven ability to identify, focus on, and own high priority issues and tasks.

  • Good understanding of corporate policies, practices, and organizations.

  • Experience in Food Service/Distribution, CPG, or Retail is helpful but not required.
