Cameron’s Valves & Measurement
Our V&M segment includes businesses that provide valves and measurement systems primarily used to control, direct and measure the flow of oil and gas – from individual wellheads through flow lines, gathering lines and transmission systems to refineries, petrochemical plants and other fluid processors. V&M’s product line offers many kinds of specialized valves as well as sophisticated measurement products including totalizers, meters and sampling systems. Because many of its products are highly technical, V&M’s marketing effort is supported by a collaboration of engineering specialists.
Provide Customer quotations for quick turn products sold into the region.
Look up inventories and/or calculate deliveries, price per agreed pricing strategy.
Enter orders into SAP and be the primary contact for customer service after the sale.
Develop the capability to quote all quick response products to customers per the go to market strategy service level requirements.
Provide accurate and timely quotes to customers utilizing SAP to record all quotes daily.
Respond to customer phone calls and emails timely and professionally.
Review request and determine product requirements using brochures, business system, and technical information.
Calculate price and discounts utilizing approved GOA process and price lists.
Determine material availability and deliveries reach out to planners as required.
Offer alternates where applicable to accommodate customer requirements.
Manage key customer relationships for the market served.
Improve the inside sales engagement with the customer-thus allowing outside sales additional selling time.
Monitor reports on key inside sales metrics as determined by the new inside sales process for quick response teams.
Review Purchase Orders for accuracy and requirements.
Handle all communication, documentation, expedites, updates, and change orders.
Provide shipment information on orders in transit.
Assist customer with problems of shipped order.
Minimum Job Qualifications
Bachelors degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Good understanding of Cameron manufacturing process and how to calculate deliveries based on data in SAP.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers located globally through emails, phone and video calls as well as in-person.
