Regional Director of Sales - Hospice - Houston/College Station/Beaumont, TX
Under the direction of the Vice President, the Regional Director of Sales is responsible for sales development within Hospice Division. Ensures division sales goals are achieved or exceeded. Works closely with and directs Regional Sales Managers in planning, organizing and implementing sales initiatives across the division. Responsible for establishing, developing and maintaining relationships with key referral sources and customers to achieve sales volume and revenue goals. This position works very closely with the Operations and Sales Teams across all lines of business, including Vice-Presidents, Regional Vice-Presidents, Regional Sales Managers, Hospice Consultants and Account Executives.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Essential Functions of the Position):
Provides overall direction, oversight, and expertise in sales management of the division.
Ensures compliance and all regulatory agencies governing sales referrals and sales related activities.
Assists in recruiting, hiring and training of sales staff.
Establishes clear direction by effectively communicating the organizational sales goals, priorities, and professional sales standards to Regional Sales Managers Account Executives, and Hospice Consultants.
Monitors and tracks performance of Regional Sales Managers, Account Executives, and Hospice Consultants. Implements appropriate interventions in place to drive optimal sales performance of the division. Holds Regional Sales Managers and Account Executives accountable for achieving budgeted admissions.
Maintains a disciplined and systematic approach to sales management duties, regularly scheduled calls, meetings, account management tools, etc.
Effectively coaches Regional Sales Managers Account Executives, and Hospice Consultants to identify key referral sources, develop new business, and manage accounts within their markets to grow business.
Works collaboratively with operations on the budgeting process and the enhancement of AccentCare's brand in the communities served. Ensures operations and sales growth strategies are aligned.
Complies with applicable legal requirements, standards, policies and procedures including, but not limited to the Compliance Program: Code of Conduct, HIPAA and Documentation Standards.
Maintains a commitment to the values and mission of AccentCare.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Bachelor's degree in a business, marketing or related field preferred.
Minimum of five years' experience in multi-site sales management required and multi-state preferred.
Success in similar endeavor with a service and or healthcare organization.
Knowledge and experience in the areas of home health care and/or hospice.
Experienced leader with proven sales management skills.
Must be creative, high energy and success oriented team player.
Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
Must have the ability to successfully work with staff to achieve goals without direct management.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with people at all levels.
Ability to influence, negotiate and accomplish objectives through others with whom manager doesn't have control.
Ability to prioritize, multi-task and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
General knowledge of HR management practices, including recruiting, selection, development, motivation, retention and performance management.
Ability to monitor, analyze and interpret complex data.
Ability to drive execution and accomplish sales objectives in a multi-site, multi-state, widely distributed organization.
Ability to resolve conflicts in a positive and constructive manner and restore relationships with internal team and referral sources.

Travel: Position requires significant business travel and a valid Driver's License.
