Job Description:

Position Overview

This is the perfect role for someone who wants to transitions from Sales to project execution or vice versa. We are looking for a Controller who can support our Regional Business development and Sales team in their efforts to grow our business, who will also support our Global Sales partners and who also can manage commercially a selection of our projects in accordance to PM@Siemens guideline. At Siemens, our safety consulting business segment is a leading global consultancy focused on providing process safety related consulting services and products. We operate in North America, Europe, Middle East and Asia Pacific and serve our customers globally. We provide our clients realistic and accurate solutions, ensuring that their facility is operating within safe limits and per industry guidelines and best practices. We envision you to be a highly motivated, analytical and enthusiastic individual who will be directly reporting to the Controller for our Safety Consulting Business segment.


Global and Regional Commercial Sales Controlling:

· Be financial partner and provide support to Manager of Sales and Proposals (NA) and his team for all Sales related activities from PM10 to PM70

· Ensures LOA(Limits of Authority) compliance and completes and supports financial portion of LOA process

· Reviews and analyses all commercial terms of contract in liaison with legal, tax, insurance, security departments and others

· Engages in contract negotiations with Contracts manager and Account manager

· Maintains SAF’s LOA and contracts database / share point site

· Supports audits related to Sales efforts

· Maintains and reports Sales KPI’s

· Manages and controls SG&A cost centers

· Supports effort to set Global standards for Proposal generation and Sales

· Ensures compliance with Siemens FRG and local accounting guideline

Commercial Project Management:

· Manages and controls financially a selected number of SAF’s projects/orders in accordance with applicable guidelines

· Performs monthly analysis and forecast actual cost against budgets

· Budgeting, cost controlling, reporting, cash-flow and claim management in a project or order.

· Claim and Change management

· Follow-up the performance of project specific suppliers.

· Foreign currency accounting and hedging in projects for in and outflow

· Supports, contributes, coordinates and participates with PM management in regular Project reviews in accordance to PM @siemens

· Supports, contributes to and drives the development and execution specific initiatives

· Ensures compliance with Siemens FRG and local accounting guideline


· Can deliver concise messages and quality presentations to management

· Ability to prioritize and multi task

· Has a strong interest in delivering quality outputs and process efficiencies

· Identifies problem areas and can apply advanced techniques to quickly diagnose areas of improvement, devise solutions as well as implement and drive change within the organization

· 5+ years experience in Commercial Project Management as well as Commercial Contract and Sales Management.

· Bilingual proficiency is preferred
