Position Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for operational accounting for Double H pipeline under Products Pipeline business segment

• Create and enter journal entries for month-end close

• Prepare clear, concise explanations, liaising with field personnel and management to ensure completeness and accuracy for all variances

• Understand business end-to-end cycle, providing insight to developments and/or changes in business model

• Perform quarterly flux analysis for use by Financial Reporting and external auditors

• Complete all A/R, A/P, and GL-related duties for Double H Pipeline

• Assist with FERC Form 6 reporting on a quarterly and year-end basis

• Champion process improvements and efficiencies, working with I.T, Scheduling, etc.

• Assist with analysis of revenue models and forecasts to ensure completeness and accuracy

• Review, analyze, & implement contracts received from Business Development

• Perform monthly account reconciliations • Complete internal controls to ensure SOX compliance

• Participate in various special projects

• Assist with and provide backup for other assets as needed

• Respond to complex questions from business units and management • Apply intermediate to advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and periodically learn new programs • Deal with a wide variety of people with tact, courtesy, and professionalism • Maintain a regular, dependable attendance and a consistently high level of performance • Will work non-traditional hours as needed • Maintain a high regard for personal safety, for the safety of company assets and employees, and the general public

Position Requirements

Education: • Bachelors degree in accounting is required • General understanding of the energy industry and familiar with industry terminology Experience/Specific Knowledge: • 3-5 years of experience of related accounting experience • Possess and maintain working knowledge of U.S. GAAP • Experience and knowledge of Lawson is a plus • Knowledge in the energy industry, including experience with FERC regulated entities, is a plus • Strong communications skills • Strong teamwork skills Certifications, Licenses & Registrations: • MBA/CPA preferred Competencies, Skills & Abilities: • Advanced proficiency level with Microsoft software, including but not limited to: Excel and Word • Strong analytical skills and logical thought processes, with the ability to identify potential accounting issues • Ability to organize and prioritize daily work, and maintain strict confidentiality • Ability to successfully and simultaneously manage multiple tasks, meet multiple deadlines, and work with minimal direct supervision • Ability to work effectively in a small group environment as a cooperative team member, take direction from others, focus attention on details, follow work rules, and adhere to required work schedules • Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with others upon whom we depend for required information for reports • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
