Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Achieving inside sales and monthly renewal sales targets for P2 products, solutions and initiatives within specific time frames across P2’s existing customer base and new potential customers
Using Salesforce.com as a sales management productivity tool and champion its use with the Sales Reps
Providing timely and accurate business forecasts and risk analysis for both inside sales and all accounts for renewals to sales and executive management
Building and effectively lead an inside sales organization through recruiting, hiring, training, development, and daily goal/objective setting
Coordinating sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes for your teams. Review sales process quality and prioritize opportunities for improvement.
Working closely with other cross-functional management teams in marketing, product, and finance operations to build peer and management support.
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred, or commensurate relevant experience.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales and 7 years of sales management required, with demonstrated achievement in solutions-based technology sales.
Must possess strong leadership skills and the ability to build and motivate an inside sales organization to ensure both short and long term goals, objectives and quotas
Ability to understand sales numbers and manage to daily, monthly, quarterly and annual sales metrics; ability to make adjustments to maintain deal velocity and momentum
Ability to understand and communicate business concepts and adapt to changing business issues and requirements.
Ability to effectively negotiate in both challenging and collaborate sales engagements with strong customer management skills.
Proven experience improving organizational processes, strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills, and strong analytical skills.
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, ever changing environment with ongoing flexibility.
25% travel required.
