To help the pipe fitter set coolers, bottles, run pipe, and build and install bracing as per instructions on the drawings provided by engineering.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:may include any or all of the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Must be able to read a tape measure, build equipment using drawings, and learn to calculate pipe lengths and angles.
• Must have some welding skill for tacking pipe and welding braces.
• Must be able to work under leadership of a pipe fitter and be willing to be trained.

Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Other Skills, Abilities or preferred Qualifications:
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
• Current Forklift license.
• Current Driver’s license.
