Navigant’s Administrative & Office Services team provides comprehensive, quality administrative and support services to our client-serving and corporate professionals, including Managing Directors through Directors and other rank appropriate professionals. They span a wide range of vital roles, from administrative support to facilities management and office services (including production support, emergency preparedness, and file management/storage, etc.).
Navigant’s group support’s four key business segments (Energy, Healthcare, FSAC, DFLT), Cymetrix, in addition to 4 US regional areas (West, Central, Northeast, Southeast) and International (UK, Europe, Middle East, Asia), described below:

The Office Receptionist is the “face of the firm”. This individual manages the front desk of the office and greets all guests, clients, employees and vendors with professionalism. This individual reports to the Administrative Assistant/Office Lead (aligned to the region) .
Manage the front desk of the office and adhere to local office business hours
Request security access badges for employees, visitors and vendors
Greet Navigant guests/clients with professionalism; Check coats/bags and personal belongings for visiting guests as needed
Answer/direct incoming calls to appropriate internal departments and employees
Provide general company information and answer inquiries independently
Maintain front office conference room appearance
Schedule and maintain calendar of conference rooms
Process vendor invoices
Complete I-9 verifications on new hires
Process outgoing mail and distribut incoming mail
Coordinate catering for meetings
Maintain supply inventory and organization of supplies
Maintain office phone list
Maintain office euqipment and call for service as needed
Support other administrative responsibilities as needed

- High school diploma required; post-secondary education or Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 5-7 years of experience, previous receptionist experience in an office
Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills
Genuine interest in making guests and internal employees feel welcome and comfortable
Ability to professionally and efficiently assist callers and visiting guests
Professional appearance and demeanor with ability to exercise good judgment and discretion
Attention to detail, dependable/punctual
Able to remain stationary at the front desk for entire day
Able to work independently and with minimal supervision
Strive for excellence in all aspects of the job and work with integrity
Computer fluency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook)
Communicate frequently with co-workers as well as with managers to discern their needs, and be able to express themselves
Work as a member of a team as well as be a self-motivator with ability to work independently
Constantly operates a computer and other office equipment to coordinate work
Occasionally stoops, reaches or kneels as necessary to reach into overhead or low cabinets
Regularly uses close visual acuity and operates computer equipment to prepare and analyze and transmit data
Generally works in an office environment
