Our Drilling segment is one of the leading global suppliers of integrated drilling systems for onshore and offshore applications. We are inventing the products and solutions for our customers that include shipyards, drilling contractors, exploration and production companies and rental tool companies. Equipment we design and manufacture include blow-out preventers (BOPs), control systems, drilling risers and valves, manifolds and other rig products, parts and services. Because of an increased focus on safety and tighter regulation, Drilling has seen an increase in customers wanting to re- certify BOP stacks or to replace aging equipment.
Job Summary We are looking for a dynamic and team oriented Field Service Technician to join the Cameron team. If you have experience in oil and drilling and you meet or exceed our qualifications, we want to see your resume!
Tests, servicesBOP’S,control systems, and pulsation dampeners.
Interacts with customers and provide troubleshooting support.
Tracks all used parts,warrantyand sales.
Assists with interpreting field test results.
Prepares and maintains documentation service related documents.
Sets up and operate test equipment to evaluateperformanceof assemblies, or systems under operatingconditions, and record results.
Analyzes and interprets test information to resolve design-related problems.
Conduct rig sales calls to promote services
Minimum Job Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Current valid class A CDL driver's license with clean record.
Minimum two (2) years Field Service or related experience
Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. Must be familiar with basic use of the internet
Strong mechanical aptitude with demonstrated work experience with hydraulics and electrical systems
Ability to communicate effectively with customers
Current valid class A CDL driver's license with hazmat endorsement.
Previous experience working with pressure control equipment
Previous experience with field sales of services provided by the company.
