Job Title: Sales Account Manager-Sr.
Reports To: Director of Sales
FLSA Status: Exempt
General Description: As the primary business contact with customers, this position is responsible for promoting the company and marketing its products and services, while ensuring that customer needs and goals are met. They will build and maintain relationships with clients to encourage new and repeat business opportunities.
Present and sell oilfield products and services to current and potential clients. Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made. Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff. Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals. Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity. Prepare presentations, proposals and sales agreements. Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge. Address client concerns and ensure the resolution of issues in a timely manner, with follow-up when appropriate. Retain accounts through the development of strong relationships with key decision makers and users within an organization. Ensure customers are proficient in using services by identifying user needs and providing training and consultative services. Responsible for managing, supporting, and servicing the account related needs of an assigned set of strategic customers. Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events. Assist in the implementation of company marketing plans as needed. Performs account servicing activities such as invoice resolution and receivables collection. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Complete knowledge of basic skills associated with motor tool handling and usage. Complete knowledge of the operation of FRAC tools and equipment. Excellent report-writing, analytical, and project management skills. Excellent verbal communication skills. Ability to lead a project using own initiative and working as part of a team. Ability to create and maintain accurate, accessible, and organized documentation. Ability to effectively communicate daily campaign performance by producing all necessary reports in an effective, timely and tailored manner. Ability to identify and convert new business opportunities. Ability to effectively manage customer & staff relationships, promptly respond to queries, ensure promises are kept and manage expectations. Minimum Required Education, Credentials, Licenses and Experience:
Must have at least BS in Engineering or Business Have NLT 8 years Oilfield Service experience in FRAC FRAC with either Engineering or Operations.
