This warranty representative evaluates and processes warranty claims, and also supports dealers and homeowners by phone and e-mail. The person in this position handles situations that may require adaptation of response or extensive research according to claim complexity.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Provide customer service for questions related to warranty and product registration.
Provide technical support for online tools to track warranty claims and product registration.
Review warranty claims.
Resolve complex non-standard warranty items independently.
Resolve problems escalated through lower staff levels.
Coordinate with a wide variety of functions within the company and liaison with customers during post-delivery times.
Provide work leadership to lower-level customer service staff as needed.
Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires at least 4 years related experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Requires a working knowledge of products and parts. Must have full knowledge of warranty review processes. May require advanced problem solving. Ability to navigate SAP and other relevant applications.
