This role in global service parts planning is one where innovative ideas and collaboration across the global organization will drive cash preservation and lead the organization to optimal service inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities - Engage cross-organizationally to analyze the stocking levels and identify opportunities to shape the inventory profile to optimize our support.

  • Partner with planners, operations, and NPI teams to implement changes to preserve cash.

  • Analyze our current inventory by geography, commodity, condition and aging to identify savings opportunities.

  • Drive a feedback loop to the rest of the organization to optimize future decisions

  • Support the strategic pillars of Services global inventory optimization including: excess and obsolete inventory identification and execution, GDO teardown, global rebalancing and production excess

  • Accurately outlook the financial outcome of inventory optimization projects

  • Innovate at the bottom of the 'S' curve. Drive the project up the 'S curve' via our business intelligence team to enable scaling and automation.

  • Ensure we are considering business changes such as support of channel sales and new offers as we implement change


  • 6+ years of experience in a similar function

  • Excellent analytical and business modelling skills

  • Strong understanding of supply chain, services support strategy, and the global services network

  • Advanced financial acumen

  • MS office including access as well as SQL data skills

  • Solid capacity to lead cross-functional discussions

  • Able to influence decisions across the global organization andmanage multiple projects with significant impact on SDS
