The Global Sales and Partner Communications team is hiring a Corporate Communications Consultant, OEM Solutions and Distribution Partner Communications. This role will spearhead Communications for Dell EMC’s Partner Distribution and OEM Solutions business. The successful candidate will work closely with, and serve as an advisor to, Dell’s senior Partner Program leadership as the company expands its global business momentum with its partner community. This person will work collaboratively with others on the Dell EMC Partner Program Communications team, both global and regionally, and help direct and orchestrate global communications on strategies.

The successful candidate will manage both Executive Communications for each leader, in addition to developing and executing Mass Communications strategies.

The position reports in to the Vice President of Communication for Dell’s Sales and Partner Communications, and Customer Reference Group. The role is global in scope, with responsibility for consistent execution in North America and coordinating campaigns and relationships in APJ, EMEA and LATAM.

Responsibilities:

  • Primary focus on building and executing communications programs to educate Distribution and OEM Solutions partners and team members on strategic programs and plans

  • Work closely with global executive leadership to sequence communications cadence and ensure consistency and understanding of message

  • Support Internal and External presentation development – including key messages, evidence, materials – for the Senior Vice Presidents of Dell EMC Distribution and Dell OEM Solutions teams

  • Work collaboratively with internal communications team members who support other Dell regional teams, and help direct and orchestrate global amplification of the program

  • Understand key business drivers and competitive dynamics to position business interests successfully and timely with target groups

  • Achieve absolute understanding and mastery of plans and programs and to provide counsel

  • Establish organizational alliances or partnerships with key stakeholders in various Product Groups and Business Units to improve and exceed client expectations

  • Background in technology or partner communications required

Requirements:

  • A degree in English, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Business, Marketing or a related field is required, along with 8 - 10 years professional communications experience

  • The ideal candidate will have strong writing, editing, issue management, strategic planning, relationship-building, problem-solving and oral/written presentation skills

  • Experience with and mastery of internal communications, Sales communications, and commercial technology markets

  • Candidate must be organized, enthusiastic, results oriented, innovative and able to deal with ambiguity and tight deadlines while working effectively in a team environment

  • This is an individual contributor role (no people management)
