  • Results-driven, high energy Regional Recruiter has a passion for engaging people in a fast-paced environment, whether over the phone or in-person and exercise their creativity in seeking talent in uncommon places.

  • Works with Branch Managers across the region to maintain staffing levels by recruiting, screening, selecting, orienting, and training employees.

  • Designs and implements office policies by establishing standards and procedures; measuring.

  • Keeps management informed by reviewing and analyzing special recruitment reports; summarizing information; identifying trends.

  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Regional Recruiter Skills and Qualifications:

Informing Others, Tracking Budget Recruitment Expenses, Staffing, Managing Recruitment Processes, Reporting Skills, Effective Administrative Skills, Time Management Skills, Good judgment, Confidentiality and Discretion, uncompromising standards of quality and integrity, knowledge of federal and state regulations regarding employer hiring practices.


  • Recruiting, Screening, Selection, On-boarding and maintaining staff levels and updated openings list.

  • Achieve staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating job candidates; advising managers; managing job postings and candidate pipeline.

  • Work closely with branch managers and corporate recruiting/HR team to determine staffing needs and support recruiting strategies in their area

  • Determine applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.

  • Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements; cold calling, using job sites i.e. (CareerBuilder, Craigslist, Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.)

  • Sourcing & pre-screening candidates to determine viability for open positions; analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements; arranges candidate interviews.

  • Expand and improve SOS’s Employer brand through networking and community outreach events.

  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

  • Maintain hard copy and electronic files as required/needed.

  • Document and escalate equal employment opportunity matters concerning recruitment and hiring practices to VP, Human Resources.

  • Provide administrative and organizational support to local management.

  • General administrative duties.


  • High School diploma and a minimum of six years of experience in a recruitment/ administrative support position, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, demonstrated ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization and with outside organizations/individuals, the ability to protect and maintain confidentiality, ability to execute tasks and projects independently and multi-task

  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) skills

  • Travel to branches may be required


  • Previous experience (3+ years) in a security environment.
