This role can be based in any of the following locations: Charlotte, NC; New York, NY; Washington, DC; Dallas, TX.
Client Service – Execute and deliver high quality engagement tasks both independently and in a collaborative setting with a focus on client satisfaction
Problem solving – Deconstruct our clients’ most challenging problems and develop innovative, industry leading solutions, approaches and methodologies
Project management – Play a lead role in supporting key client projects, ensuring projects are completed in an efficient manner to meet client deadlines
Practice development – Participate in the management and development of practice initiatives (e.g., recruiting, people and culture, internal communications, and training)
Business development – Engage in the pursuit of new business including drafting documents, proposals and client presentations
Industry knowledge and development – Expand your industry knowledge, contribute to the development of consulting capabilities and effectively articulate our key business propositions to clients
Bachelor’s degree in a business related or technical field; MBA or MA/MS degree in a related field a plus
2 or more years of experience in consumer finance or financial services focusing on Business and Technology Strategy, Technology Consulting, Systems Integration, IT Risk and/or IT Governance in a consultant and/or industry role
Prior management consulting experience is preferred
Strong sense of technology related compliance areas within financial services
History of large scale business consulting engagement delivery
Thorough understanding of risk management
Experience with business strategy development and execution
Experience providing strategic technology advisory services to clients in the mortgage banking industry
Experience advising major banking institutions during large scale enterprise transformation initiative as a result of government mandates and regulation
Experience delivering detailed solution architecture for integration with external platform and transformation of enterprise
Experience decomposing client’s current business processes to assess the flow of data through systems, and advise client on integration points and process breaks in order to best integrate with external platform
Ability to identify business capabilities of external entity and map them to client’s legacy systems and interfaces to further assess impact of integration
Experience determining technology capabilities required for integration with platform, and map external platform’s integration patterns against legacy technology components and communication protocols
Knowledge and experience in a broad range of subject matters including:
Banking regulations and compliance
Operational improvement and effectiveness
Technology strategy, governance and effectiveness
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle)
Business architecture and operating models
Business process management
Leading transformational initiatives
Software vendor selection and implementation, business process outsourcing and sourcing
Strong data analysis skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, tailoring communications to both clients and coworkers

Proven ability to successfully lead client service delivery teams that deliver the highest quality work

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Access, and Visio a plus

Ability to travel up to 100% for client engagements as required
ITIL, PMP, CRISC, CISA/CISM, CISSP, CGEIT, Lean Six Sigma, or other relevant certifications are all a plus

Constantly operates a computer and other office equipment to coordinate work
