We are looking for a Performance Manager to join our EXOS Team!

The Performance Manager is a key leadership position for the EXOS business responsible for driving performance excellence. This position is responsible for developing and executing a performance curriculum created around our four pillars - mindset, nutrition, movement and recovery. Working in a matrixed environment, this individual must be comfortable in leading teams of highly skilled professionals in improving the quality of service delivery across multiple departments.

Job Duties:

  • Supervise, direct or support the performance team in the execution of their job responsibilities

  • Oversee all procedures and daily operations of the performance program

  • Manage the development of the Performance Coaches

  • Communicate with the EXOS Performance team to develop systems for collaborating with athletes

  • Ensure consistent implementation of EXOS methodology by ensuring coaches are educated, informed and constantly challenged to improve their understanding of the EXOS principles

  • Create performance programming for in-house and outreach programs when applicable

  • Ensure all goals of client are met.

  • Track performance evaluations and provide critical feedback to maintain an exceptional level of service and consistency across all parties involved

  • Conduct meetings with Performance Coaching staff to ensure world-class service of members are being met

  • Possess excellent time management skills to move from coaching aspect to leadership aspect of position.

  • Represent the business with the highest level of professionalism and energy

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5+ years in a supervisory or management role in a performance fitness environment and/or health/wellness

  • Previous experience preparing training programs

  • BA/BS Kinesiology or Sports Science or related degree

  • Currently hold industry certification, preferably NSCA-CSCS or NASM

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Kinesiology, Sports Science, Rehabilitation or related field.

  • Excellent presentation skills in both small and large group settings

  • Ability to work a fluctuating schedule

  • Strong customer service skills where servicing the “client” is top priority

  • Energy and passion for helping others achieve their personal goals

  • Must be able to work independently with little daily supervision

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite or related products
