Role Summary:

Baker Hughes, a GE company has an opening for an Account Manager (Completions and Wellbore Intervention) to be based in Houston, TX


Works closely within team to secure accurate quotation of services to client companies.

Sells products and services to existing and new customers.

  • Sells products and services to existing and newcustomers.

  • Develops and maintains sales strategies to increasesales and profits through major accounts. Builds strong customerrelationships.

  • Engages in revenue planning, sales strategies,evaluating TAM, and growing share.

  • Ensures product line sales focus and support forgeographical area

  • Protects product line integrity

  • Interface to operations, marketing and product lineresources

  • Provides key applications/re-design support

  • Engages with Commercial on bids and tenders

  • Responsible for making presentations to customers andsales personnel

  • Handles special projects, as assigned.


  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalentexperience

  • 5 years’ experience in Completions and WellboreIntervention Product Line

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Strong at building personalrelationships (with internal and external customers)

  • Proficient in MS Office with an emphasis on Excel,Word, Outlook and PowerPoint

  • Looking for a positive self-motivated and drivenindividual.

  • Comprehensive,specialized technical knowledge of company's products and services forarea of responsibility and general knowledge of products and services ofother business segments

  • Sales and Account Managementexperience preferred

  • Demonstrated understanding ofsales process, ability to build strong relationships and close business

  • Fundamental knowledge ofcommercial and contract language

  • Completions and WellboreIntervention knowledge

  • Expertise in negotiating

  • Project Management experience

  • Ability to coach others

  • Ability to travel at least 10%
