JOB DESCRIPTION

Collaborate with Global Product Line Leadership and Geozone Product Line Managers to design and execute strategies to optimize the product line asset fleet. Manage the global cased-hole wireline equipment assets, including asset tracking, transfers, logistics, and deployment from Manufacturing. Monitor, communicate, and report performance metrics and use the results to drive change across all Geozones. Provide leadership in ensuring compliance to processes and procedures. Train Geozone asset personnel on relevant policies and corporate programs.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work with Wireline Geozone Business Managers and Service Delivery Managers to optimize existing asset fleet and inventory levels:

Monitor asset utilization and work with Cased-Hole Product Line Manager, Geozone Business Managers and Service Delivery Managers to redistribute underutilized assets.

Monitor asset turns by Geozone and provide support and solutions to regions to improve and optimize this metric.

Review slow moving assets globally with Cased-Hole Product Line Manager and propose plan for redistribution to improve utilization.

Ensure that asset redeployments between regions are fully compliant with Weatherford standards and requirements.

Support Geozone and product line management in the process for CAPEX budgeting.

Manage the Cased-Hole CAPEX budget under the direction of the Global Product Line Manager - create AFEs as required, allocate CAPEX to the various projects, and capitalize new assets as they are created or acquired.

Work with Finance and Global Asset and Inventory management teams to ensure that Asset Transfer Policies and procedures are adhered to, including the timely release of slow moving assets

Work closely with Wireline Manufacturing and external vendors to monitor progress and manage deliveries and timing of new equipment assets.

Ensure the Geozones have implemented plans to comply with and successfully execute all asset cycle counts.

Perform periodic internal asset audits in the Geozones.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

Five years’ experience with Wireline operations desirable

Knowledge of Wireline product portfolio highly desirable

Proficiency with JDE highly desirable

Working knowledge of trade compliance and dangerous goods transportation policies highly desirable

Familiarity with Weatherford QHSSE and Wireline quality management and information systems desirable – OEPS, TOPS, WISE, WPTS

Demonstrated ability to support global implementation of Product Line and Corporate asset and inventory strategies.

Knowledge of standard Asset and inventory processes and procedures and skills to lead their implementation throughout the region.

Ability to outline and communicate effective objectives and action plans.

Experience with developing and implementing an action plan.

Ability to understand and monitor performance metrics and manage reporting at the regional level.

Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis and process mapping.

Experience with effectively building, leading, and developing a successful team

Demonstrated ability to effectively work in a matrix organizational structure, including negotiating and influencing across the matrix.

Good communication and public speaking skills.

Logical and methodical, results-driven. Determined and able to use sound judgment to achieve business results.

Ability to work effectively under pressure and with tight timelines.

Advanced skills in MS Excel. Working knowledge of standard office software such as MS Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word. Knowledge and ability to generate reports of inventory and asset ERP software.

Bachelor Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in asset and inventory management

Ability and willingness to travel

Preferred:

Master’s Degree in Business Administration

Preferred 10 or more years of experience in inventory and asset management

Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing people
