Is this a part time position?:
You will work with a team of Product and Service Owners, Architects and other Engineers to develop enhancements and craft new products and services, you will meet new people and get exposed to new cultures and grow your confidence and skills along the way.
A bachelor's degree from a recognized institute of higher learning, ideally focused in computer science or MIS/IT.
Desirable criteria and qualifications:
Functional knowledge of networking principles at a CCNA level or greater. (Specific certification or accreditation not required or expected)
Experience with modern approaches to source-code management and control through tools like TFS and Git/GitHub.
Exposure to adjacent domains such as platforms, storage, databases, etc. You know your way around a command-line.
Experience working in brownfield sites, where the work requires crafting new solutions across equipment with a diverse set of capabilities.
Familiarity or exposure to commonly used network equipment in an enterprise environment (such as Cisco, Juniper, HPE/Aruba, etc).
Experience with high-level programming languages such as Python, C#/.NET or JS and related frameworks. Exposure to YAML and Markdown also beneficial.

Essential experience and job requirements:
To find success, you will need to draw on some essential skills, qualifications and experiences.
Good interpersonal skills including the ability to relate complex topics in simple and accessible language.
An understanding of modern development methodologies (Agile using Scrum and/or Kanban) with real-world experience in automations using Python or other high-level languages. Even if you're fairly new to coding, you demonstrate your ability to rapidly learn new technologies and platforms.
Practical experience (either in other roles or through your own self-improvement) with automation frameworks such as Ansible Tower, the use and development of REST-based APIs and a passion for open-source approaches to network management.
A solid grasp of networking fundamentals with desire and eagerness to learn more. Getting the basics right will be key to your advancement in the field and will be the foundation through which you will build automations successfully.
