Operator II Ryckman Creek Resources is seeking an Operator II to work in the Evanston Wyoming location. This position will be responsible for monitoring equipment functioning and coordinate and monitor operation of the company s gas storage. Duties and Responsibilities Monitor equipment functioning observe temperature level and flow perform regular equipment checks to insure all equipment is operating as it should. Control operation of compressors scrubbers evaporators and refrigeration equipment to liquefy or compress natural gas. Operate natural gas equipment. Start up and shut down equipment Control equipment to regulate flow and pressure of gas to feedlines of boilers heaters and related steam-generating and heating equipment. Record review and compile operations records test results and gauge readings such as temperatures pressures flow rates and concentrations. Adjust temperature pressure vacuum level flow rate and-or transfer of gas to maintain processes at required levels or to correct problems. Review log sheets to optimize efficiency and detect malfunctions. Requires work on all shifts as sole person responsible for entire Responsible for adjusting supplies through use of remote-control regulators and valves as needed to maintain sufficient system pressures and flow Responsible for monitoring analyzing and responding to SCADA system alarms DCS system and the recognition of unusual conditions that do not generate alarms while notifying appropriate responding personnel Coordinate and monitor operation of the company s gas storage Essential Characteristics and Competencies Strong ethics and integrity dedication to a safe work environment commitment to a diverse workforce that recognizes and respects every individual s unique skills and perspectives Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Ability to adapt in a fast-moving and changing culture Strong interpersonal skills with the proven ability to build and establish rapport with a diverse array of people Required Education: High School Diploma or GED required Associates degree in Engineering or equivalent experience required Required knowledge skill and abilities: 5 Plus years of experience of gas storage-energy industry preferred Knowledge of basic physics chemistry gas pressure regulators gas flow measurement and related gas industry terminology Knowledge of the Company s pipeline interconnects gas distribution systems and the minimum normal and maximum allowable operating pressures Ability to work outside in all weather conditions Be compliant with all OSHA DOT FERC regulations state and federal regulations Abide by all industry and plant safety policies.
