Job Description

A Process Control Domain (PCD) IT Wintel & Application Specialist is a technical expert in the support, configuration and periodic change/patching of Wintel systems and their integration into the overall local network (called the Process Control Domain). They have mastery of skills in the configuration and maintenance of Wintel systems and security controls that safeguard the process control layer from outsider access. The specialist should also be knowledgeable in the following concepts: IT Service Management and Integration Support, On-premise and Cloud Hosting, Business Change Management, Continuous Improvement, IT Architecture Information Risk Management and Assurance, and Collaboration Tools.

Drive Incident resolution by assisting in key operational activities in terms of delivery, fixes, and supportability with operations staff and/suppliers.

  • Planning and implementation of requests

  • Change ticket review / approvals / planning

  • Provide root cause analysis on problem tickets

  • Assist with Transition to Support activities

  • Virtual working in a global environment with culturally diverse teams. Managing multiple delivery priorities and multiple demandrequests


  • Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer.

  • Bachelor's degree.

  • Minimum three (3) years overall work experience.

  • Prior experience in an IT support environment supporting business applications.

  • Good understanding of Microsoft Server and VMware products

  • Good understanding of ITIL processes, incident, problem and change management


  • Microsoft Certifications: MSCA / MSCE

  • VMware Certifications: VCAP

  • Ability to operate in a global, virtual cross-cultural organization, working in different time zones

  • Be able to work under pressure. Deliver solutions fast, but to quality standards and in a compliant way

  • Ability to handle concurrent tasks with appropriate priority
