Arconic is hiring a Sales Manager in our Houston, TX facility.

The Sales Manager is responsible for managing sales activities of the AES Energy Group by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Sells products by implementing growth plans

  • Customer Interface, Customer relationship development and communication

  • Prepares sales budget and Monthly Business Review

  • Maintains sales volume and product mix by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors

  • Negotiate within the boundaries set by Company; look for opportunities to gain margin

  • Manage customer agreements to assure compliance to terms and quantities.

  • Help work out cost problems

  • Provide customer service to include developing and communicating solutions to quality/delivery issues and assisting with internal communications

  • Develop product knowledge including company and customer products

  • Gather intelligence on market, customer, and competitors; establish relationships at all levels of customer organization; communicate price trends and drivers to the customer

  • Monthly and quarterly progress reporting. Reporting requirements will include specific metrics for each category with corresponding critical actions to achieve success

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution;

  • International experience preferred;

  • Onshore E&P knowledge a plus;

  • Supervisory and/or management experience a plus;

  • Experience with Salesforce;

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite;

  • Experience with sales forecasting and monthly review packages, weekly updates to forecasts, annual budgets;

  • Offshore production experience required;

  • Experience with sales reporting (analysis, forecasting).

Basic Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma or GED from an accredited institution;

  • Minimum of 5 years of business to business sales experience in the oil and gas offshore market;

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without Company sponsorship;

  • This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. ‘Green Card Holder’), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
