Job ID #: 1261 Location: Houston, TX Functional Area: Analyst Department: Finance Position Type: Full-Time Regular Education Required: Bachelor's Degree Experience Required: 1 - 3 Years Relocation Provided: Position Description The Senior Financial Analyst will provide information, analyses, financial modeling, and execution support to the Finance team at EDPR NA. This is a full-time position for a 12-month duration with a full benefits package. Main accountabilities: Maintain financial tracking models by updating monthly actuals and model structure to reflect ongoing changes in deal inputs and structures (i.e. improvements, amendments) Work closely with Asset Management, Tax, Legal, and Accounting to monitor asset performance and commercial and technical developments Help determine the impacts of commercial and technical developments on investors and on financing agreement obligations Monitor the fulfillment of requirements and deadlines under financing agreements Assist with maintaining a scheduled deliverables database for corporate governance, operating reports, budgets, financial statements, and other major events Perform ad-hoc analyses related to operating investments and financing agreements to provide insights to Senior Management Support the execution of third-party financing activities, namely closing and funding deliverables (deal exhibits, estoppels, reliance letters, bring-down reports etc.) Prepare materials required for assets marketing (teasers, info-memos, factsheets) and for required approvals at the EDPR and EDP decision making committees Additional duties as required Direct reports: None Travel: 0 10% Position Requirements Minimum requirements: Bachelor s degree in finance or related field; MBA desirable 2+ years work experience in energy or finance Hands-on knowledge of valuation and financing modelling Proficient knowledge of Excel, Visual Basic and PowerPoint Behavioral requirements: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills Ability to be self-motivated Strong Interpersonal and teamwork skills Physical demands & working conditions: Sitting/Standing/Flexibility: Ability to stand and sit for 8 or more hours when in an office environment.
