Makes calls on customers to support business opportunities for the Odessa service shop. Provides customer pickup and delivery.
In the role of Customer Representative, you will:
Be responsible for selling shop services and shop parts to support the Odessa machine shop
Work with customers to provide products and technical knowledge to maintain equipment
Cooperate with (technical) sales support to realize sales
Will pick up and deliver parts and shop materials as needed
Maintain company vehicle in proper working condition
Maintain log book and proper documentation required by DOT and the company
Properly loads and secures cargo for transit per DOT regulations Qualifications/Requirements:
Associate’s degree from an accredited university or college (OR High School Diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution and minimum 4 years of experience in Reciprocating Compression industry)
Minimum 2 years of experience in Reciprocating Compression industryEligibility Requirements:
Possess a valid commercial driver’s license
Meet DOT requirements
Work overtime, weekends and holidays, as required
Work in a constant pushing, pulling, lifting, stretching, bending and other physical activities
To be in the shop environment a minimum of 8 hours per day, primarily standing and sitting, as required
Lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
To be subjected to extreme heat for extended periods of time Desired Characteristics:
