Summary:

Participate as a crew member in well site and rig up/ rig down operations. This position will operate a company vehicle on a daily basisbetween the district and work site to deliver products, service tools, and equipment. This position will also operate designated equipment asassigned by the Service Supervisor.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Pumpco

  • Ability to verbally communicate and understand details and directions

  • Responsible for the safe operation of assigned equipment on all locations while under the supervision of the Service Supervisor orother crew members

  • Ability to learn the disciplines of driving and rigging up equipment on location and assist during the rigging up and down of servicelines and equipment at the well site

  • Perform all Pre-job and Post-job maintenance duties and reports, as instructed by the Service Supervisor or other crew members

  • Responsible for maintaining equipment and the cleanliness of the equipment

  • Complete all Pre/Post trip reports for all equipment, under the supervision of the Service Supervisor or other crew members

  • Properly maintain Driver DOT Logs

  • Promotes safety awareness and environmental consciousness, and complies with all applicable health, safety and environmentalprocedures and regulations

  • Maintain satisfactory driving record

  • Must be willing to obtain knowledge of pumping standards

  • Ability to learn to operate auxiliary equipment: stake bed, acid transport and sand truck

  • Ability to learn to operate different types of equipment and support well site activity

  • Ability to maintain condition of treating iron

  • Perform duties according to documented Standard Operating Practices and comply with all requirements and work placeinstructions

  • Perform various other duties assigned by the Service Supervisor

Competency Requirements:

  • Experience is preferred but not required as a condition of employment

  • Able to pass H2S certification

  • Valid Class A, able to acquire HAZMAT

  • Reading comprehension and writing skills

  • The ability to perform basic mathematical calculations

  • Ability to gain the knowledge of and pass Crane Training and other Qualifications as Required

  • Must have an active telephone and the ability to be on 24 hour call

Physical Job Demands:

  • Ability to work a “24 hour on call” rotational schedule is required

  • Ability to work flexible work schedule, including long and/or irregular hours and nights and weekends

  • Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when applicable

  • Required to travel to job sites for a week or more at a time in a designated area

  • Must have efficient eye-hand coordination. Must have good depth perception, peripheral vision, ability to see and differentiatecolors, and a minimum of average hearing

  • This job will require occasional bending, squatting, climbing, twisting, and reaching

  • Must be able to perform physical labor involving frequent lifting (over 50lbs.), carrying, bending, and shoveling

  • Job may include stand/walk 6 – 8 hrs., sitting 6 – 8 hrs., driving 1 – 4 hours

  • Work environment with chemicals, fumes/gasses, noxious odors, heights, noise, radiation, and exposure to weather conditions suchas cold, rain/dampness, heat/humidity, and wind

  • Repetitive motions of simple grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling, finger dexterity, foot movement
