Cameron’s Surface Systems

Cameron’s Surface segment designs and manufactures complete wellhead and Christmas tree systems for onshore and offshore topside applications. This segment has an extensive installed base of equipment and is collaborating with customers around the world. Our Surface segment is not only the industry’s largest provider of surface completion and production equipment but also has a large services business in each of its markets. One of the major services provided by the Surface segment is CAMSHALE™ Production Solutions, which specializes in shale gas production.

Job Summary

  • Disassemble, inspect, repair, install and/or pressure test equipment and/or products. Complete final sign-off for pressure testing as required.

  • Receive, process and respond to concerns, inquiries, business calls and visitors regarding field service and equipment application.

  • Act as a liaison between sales, customer and internal production processes regarding order status, compliance, processing, changes, modifications and delivery of equipment and service.

  • Coordinate information between engineering and sales regarding product application and customer requirements.

  • Input/extract data to/from Onbase and SAP system related to BOM’s and inventory levels.

  • Provide Company paperwork and routine follow-up correspondence including field service tickets and travel logs.

  • Maintain records and hard copy files.

  • Maintain customer property inventory/files.

  • Refer to catalogues and manuals to respond appropriately to customer inquiries.

  • Verify product information/application by referring to files of technical bulletins, catalogues, publications, specifications and performance data.

  • Maintain service orders, product and well files.

  • Track, organize and submit expenses (through Apptricity) incurred during required travel to customer sites.

  • Participate in after-hours on-call rotation schedule.

  • Focused on continuous improvement in all areas.

Minimum Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • Five (5)+ years direct wellhead experience.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude/experience. Will be working with wellhead valves, chokes and other components.

  • Ability to take apart and put together equipment according to detailed specifications required.

  • Troubleshoot routine installation and operation problems for above listed products.

  • Effectively communicate with customers, visitors and other employees.

  • Previous experience with SAP.

  • Current and valid Driver's License.

  • Heavy lifting on a regular basis.

  • Ability to work underground or in deep holes.

  • Willing to work extended/irregular hours, tolerate exposure to extreme weather and travel to various remote locations.

  • Experience in construction, HVAC, plumbing, electrician, mechanic, automotive mechanics or other skilled trade a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Post-secondary technical education in related discipline. ​
