NOTE: NexRev, LLC. is based in Plano, TX but is looking for Road Warriors from all around the USA.
Are you a Journeyman Electrician that is tired of the day to day routine of local work? Do you have a passion for travel and love being on the road? The NexRev Controls Electrician will be responsible for installing and troubleshooting Building Management Systems involving HVAC Controls, VFDs, lighting contactors, relays, motors, and PLCs.
Deployments are 3 weeks on the road and then one week back home. Our technicians typically work 10 hour days, 6 days a week and have Sundays off. NexRev provides a company vehicle and per diem.

Install Automatic Temperature Control Systems
Test and verify system readings ensuring optimal system operation.
Performs system checkout and assist in system startup.
Completes and submits electronic reports covering all aspects of each assignment and activity.
Provides technical support and training when applicable.
Mandatory Requirements - Education & Experience
High school diploma (or GED) or Trade School diploma - required
Minimum of 5 years as a Journeyman electrician or 5 years working with Fire Alarm systems or any other low voltage control work.
Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams
Proficient with operating a laptop and/PC
Experience with computerized electrical circuits and systems as they relate to HVAC controls (electronic, pneumatic, and digital direct)
Experience with AC / DC circuits, lighting contactors, and relays
Knowledge of BACnet and MODBUS protocols
Tridium Niagara AX certification
Knowledge of pneumatic controls
Strong background in air and hydronic systems with knowledge of chillers and boiler operations
Strong controls background with any Building Management System
Ability to work independently in the absence of supervisor with limited supervision.
Must have strong organizational skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills (both oral and written).
Team player who is cooperative and supportive to meet internal and external expectations.
The Controls Installation Technician will spend majority of the time within the mechanical and electrical rooms, and may encounter hazardous or confined spaces. This job requires frequent:
