Are you highly analytical and love to problem solve and would love to help the Global Sales Ops group move to the next level? Do you want to be responsible for planning and driving the strategic direction for the design and implementation of sales systems and tools aimed at improving operational efficiency and sales productivity? You will possess a deep understanding of sales, marketing, channel and business operations within the Enterprise Software industry. You will have a proven track record of success driving business process improvement projects, experience in SFDC integrations and delivery projects. You are highly data driven, intellectually curious, creative, and able to move quickly while keeping passionate about high impact projects with limited direction and supervision.
You will work collaboratively with functional leaders to develop strategic short and long-term plans to implement and enhance sales systems, data, and various tools in support of critical sales initiatives. You will partner with various owners of business processes to create a cross-business roadmap for various systems (sales) implementation and rollout including prioritization of enhancement requests.
You will maintain frequent communication with business partners to ensure changes to SFDC are consistent with needs
You will develop operational measurements, identify business issues and provide recommendations and solutions to business challenges
You are a natural leader and will manage and coach a team that will do the following and provide hands on guidance as needed
Identify opportunities for process optimization, process redesign, and development of new process and policies
Provide comprehensive sales operational support for SFDC and CPQ for Splunk’s field organization
Serve as subject-matter expert.
Partner with business process owners, SFDC technical architects, and other IT representatives to troubleshoot and resolve complex systems and data issues
Create and maintain key documentation – requirements, process flows, use cases, and test scripts
Monitor industry trends to ensure Splunk’s systems with in sales and tools are current with industry standards and new technology implementation
You have 5+ years of experience in a sales operations role managing a global team that supports sales systems and tools in an Enterprise Software company
5+ working multi-functional within a global sales organization
5+ years driving process improvements in an SFDC driven sales organization.
Ability to gather and use data to inform decision-making and persuade others. You know how to work effectively in an unstructured environment requiring new perspectives and creative approaches.
You possess business insight, strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and project management skills
Able to speak in front of senior audiences as well as write clearly, concisely, and compellingly
Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to present technical content to general audiences
Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and drive initiatives in a cross-functional environment
Ability to be highly productive with minimal oversight from senior management
Ability to set goals and drive to their fulfillment. You take responsibility for actions outcomes and you are accountable for successes and failures.

Experience with Enterprise applications: SFDC, Steelbrick, and Apttus
Experience with change management
Solid background in business requirements documentation
Bachelor’s Degree in an analytical field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or Statistics).
MBA graduate degree a plus
