Job Description

  • Identifies, defines and leads sales process improvement initiatives.

  • Primary focus is any process impacting sales efficiency. These could include customer identification, relationship management, quoting, ordering, quote follow-up, and order management to achieve timely delivery.

  • Applies understanding of business needs, data, analysis, systems, and process to identify high ROI opportunities and implement changes that gain efficiency.

  • Engages stakeholders in finding agreed solutions.

  • Drives change through persuasion, training, follow-up, and further process refinement.

  • Effective at building relationships and listening.

  • Needs to be an engaging and inspiring leader.

  • Responsible for managing cross-functional process improvement projects.

  • Employs Six Sigma or a related methodology and analytics into organizational operations in order to accomplish business objectives.

Qualifications

  • Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Requires at least 5 years related experience.

  • Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent preferred.

  • Must have knowledge of a broad toolbox of analytical skills.

  • Demonstrates broad financial acumen.

  • Requires very strong data and business information skills.

  • Useful tools include Excel, PowerPoint, CRM, SAP, BI reporting, and Qlik.

  • Must have strong customer service and relational skills.

  • Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Must be able to lead and motivate cross-functional project teams.
